Shelly Patterson, 47 years old, volunteer for MADD, was killed by a drunk driver on the weekend. Her husband of almost 28 years, Jim, is still in hospital with much recovery ahead of him. She also leaves behind 4 children and two grandchildren (one of whom is due to arrive in 3 months).
This family lived right next door to us when we lived in Daysland. What a shocker for the community. I can't even come up with the words... only groanings of intercession for the family...
I was going to blog on something else tonight, but I guess it can wait. Somehow it seems trivial now.
O God, do as only You can do. Heal as only You can heal. Restore as only You can restore. Minister as only Your Spirit can minister... use Your people.... Hold them, Father...
